(CVE-2015-5286)

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2015-5286
DESCRIPTION: OpenStack Glance is vulnerable to a denial of service. By
deleting images uploaded using a token that is about to expire, an attacker
could exploit this vulnerability to bypass storage quotas and accumulate
untracked image data in the backend to exhaust all available resources.

CVEID: CVE-2015-5163
DESCRIPTION: OpenStack Glance could allow a remote authenticated attacker
to obtain sensitive information, caused by the failure to specify a format
and the use of format auto-detection. By importing an image convert using
a qcow2 backing file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read
arbitrary files on the PowerVC server.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2015-3280
DESCRIPTION: OpenStack Nova is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused
by an error when an image is deleted while in resize state. A remote
authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the original
image from the compute node to cause a denial of service. Only PowerVC
installations managing PowerKVM are affected.
