sol40131068: GnuPG vulnerability CVE-2013-4402

Security Advisory

Original Publication Date: 02/18/2016

Vulnerability Description

The compressed packet parser in GnuPG 1.4.x before 1.4.15 and 2.0.x before
2.0.22 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite
recursion) via a crafted OpenPGP message. (CVE-2013-4402)

Impact

A remote attacker may exploit this flaw by way of a specially crafted OpenPGP
message to cause a denial-of-service (DoS).

Vulnerability Recommended Actions

If you are running a version listed in the Versions known to be vulnerable
column, you can eliminate this vulnerability by upgrading to a version listed
in the Versions known to be not vulnerable column. If the table lists only an
older version than what you are currently running, or does not list a
non-vulnerable version, then no upgrade candidate currently exists.

F5 responds to vulnerabilities in accordance with the Severity values
published in the previous table. The Severity values and other security
vulnerability parameters are defined in SOL4602: Overview of the F5 security
vulnerability response policy.

sol50413110: GnuPG vulnerability CVE-2013-4351

Security Advisory

Original Publication Date: 02/18/2016

Vulnerability Description

GnuPG 1.4.x, 2.0.x, and 2.1.x treats a key flags subpacket with all bits
cleared (no usage permitted) as if it has all bits set (all usage permitted),
which might allow remote attackers to bypass intended cryptographic protection
mechanisms by leveraging the subkey. (CVE-2013-4351

Impact

A remote attacker may exploit this flaw to bypass the intended cryptographic
protection mechanism.

sol11785283: GnuPG vulnerability CVE-2012-6085

Security Advisory

Original Publication Date: 02/19/2016

Vulnerability Description

The read_block function in g10/import.c in GnuPG 1.4.x before 1.4.13 and 2.0.x
through 2.0.19, when importing a key, allows remote attackers to corrupt the
public keyring database or cause a denial of service (application crash) via a
crafted length field of an OpenPGP packet. (CVE-2012-6085)

Impact

A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by way of a specially crafted
OpenPGP packet to cause the keyring to be corrupted.
