By supplying a specially created VMDK flat image that references a specific backing file path, an authenticated user may convince systems to return a copy of that file's contents from the server, resulting in unauthorized access to potentially sensitive data. For Debian 10 buster, this problem has been fixed in version 2:13.0.7-1+deb10u2. We recommend that you upgrade your cinder packages. For the detailed security status of cinder please refer to its security tracker page at: https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/cinder Further information about Debian LTS security advisories, how to apply these updates to your system and frequently asked questions can be found at: https://wiki.debian.org/LTS - -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCAAdFiEEbJ0QSEqa5Mw4X3xxgj6WdgbDS5YFAmPYQBwACgkQgj6WdgbD S5Z/dQ/+MVK6S++td3cQr5y+QiWGqRevwsyJetZ6mIv2x0Tbg9LP4WrV6eoipda/ tEpolrqW+ob+Iqp3zM/HWaWDUZws0yHqzqdbI7qWQdjBBKHikb4w2QeDN4Gwf3Bh iXtF/DqHvixZNEwI4V7MOPo8GwkgnCFsEXzldLUFnDS/vMVodgK8W8ChWZjhVnPf NgJhqH4+Reh3p4YdvNCCOVd8ViT1MEt+E3dT2y94xpHqCLl5NICFxi4DGqASlhrs awbKb/4dEDsfRdzxIe05HGiHj59m2AIFbflXJ9ZcxcaeYtL2RVkDJHo6UgX2Wa1w 2mw26/4pBku2YOHbr7cp2dGt4SkCEF7wMFkKtbEZ89YVodByDLk6ybzxAYS0pIdi 6lPHWRbxXb0GJg/twUnOiiAAiHY/Yvtkjofsc6CVQs6sFXTZsA/Au5l5Gu8HxK22 G8/KK1EEFHMTSZs96XyX9360jPtjPk3oK/2G266USQzwy+IBvYhky70xvDV04caB IXV0PffmM2EJtHeTy7iXLA2iI4ZoMFuR7Imr1DJfi2cIZZWBsh8JK2BIX1CR6xS0 Stk+BkkrMOIpR0baBKmjwurSSuvBB0fzz7kjHNCX+llMF0cvxAFdfbTLOv0BBd51 MFaWxycL1ItrrNEXtAWcOsWmubxanw8KPVgZC5jP0c3eS7MdC+w= =uOI9 - -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- - --------------------------END INCLUDED TEXT-------------------- You have received this e-mail bulletin as a result of your organisation's registration with AusCERT.
