[R1] Nessus Version 8.15.8 Fixes One Vulnerability

Synopsis

A privilege escalation vulnerability was identified in Nessus versions 8.15.7
and earlier. An authenticated attacker could potentially execute a specially
crafted file to obtain root or NT AUTHORITY / SYSTEM privileges on the Nessus
host.

Solution

Tenable has released Nessus 8.15.8 to address these issues. The installation
files can be obtained from the Tenable Downloads Portal https://www.tenable.com
/downloads/nessus
