Bottle could be made to cache malicious requests if it received a
specially crafted input.

Details

It was discovered that Bottle incorrectly handled certain inputs.
An attacker could possibly use this issue to cache malicious requests.

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package
versions:

Ubuntu 20.04

  o python3-bottle - 0.12.15-2.1ubuntu0.1

Ubuntu 18.04

  o python3-bottle - 0.12.13-1ubuntu0.1
  o python-bottle - 0.12.13-1ubuntu0.1

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
