VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
A potential buffer overflow security vulnerability has been identified in HPE 3Par and Primera StoreServ Management Console (SSMC) using sudo. HPE 3Par and Primera StoreServ Management Console (SSMC) is an off node multiarray manager web application and remains isolated from data on the managed arrays.

HPE has provided an update to HPE 3Par and Primera StoreServ Management Console (SSMC) software:

Upgrade to HPE 3Par and Primera StoreServ Management Console 3.8 or later
SSMC 3.8 is available for download from the
Mylicense portal
