Several security issues were fixed in GStreamer Plugins Good.

Details

It was discovered that GStreamer Good Plugins incorrectly handled certain
files.
An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause access sensitive information
or cause a crash. ( CVE-2021-3497 )

It was discovered that GStreamer Good Plugins incorrectly handled certain
files.
An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code or cause
a crash. This issue only affected Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and
Ubuntu
20.10. ( CVE-2021-3498 )

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package
versions:

Ubuntu 20.10

  o gstreamer1.0-plugins-good - 1.18.0-1ubuntu1.1

Ubuntu 20.04

  o gstreamer1.0-plugins-good - 1.16.2-1ubuntu2.1

Ubuntu 18.04

  o gstreamer1.0-plugins-good - 1.14.5-0ubuntu1~18.04.2

Ubuntu 16.04

  o gstreamer1.0-plugins-good - 1.8.3-1ubuntu0.5

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
