OpenSSL could be made to crash if it received specially
crafted network traffic.

Details

It was discovered that OpenSSL incorrectly handled certain renegotiation
ClientHello messages. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause
OpenSSL to crash, resulting in a denial of service.

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package
versions:

Ubuntu 20.10

  o libssl1.1 - 1.1.1f-1ubuntu4.3

Ubuntu 20.04

  o libssl1.1 - 1.1.1f-1ubuntu2.3

Ubuntu 18.04

  o libssl1.1 - 1.1.1-1ubuntu2.1~18.04.9

After a standard system update you need to reboot your computer to make
all the necessary changes.
