If an user or automated system were tricked into opening a specially crafted GIF file, a remote attacker could use this flaw to cause GDK-PixBuf to crash, resulting in a denial of service. Update instructions The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions: Ubuntu 20.10 o libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 - 2.40.0+dfsg-5ubuntu0.2 Ubuntu 20.04 o libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 - 2.40.0+dfsg-3ubuntu0.2 After a standard system update you need to restart your session to make all the necessary changes.
