Package : screen
Version : 4.5.0-6+deb9u1
CVE ID : CVE-2021-26937
Debian Bug : 982435

encoding.c in GNU Screen through 4.8.0 allows remote attackers
to cause a denial of service (invalid write access and application
crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted
UTF-8 character sequence.

For Debian 9 stretch, this problem has been fixed in version
4.5.0-6+deb9u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your screen packages.

For the detailed security status of screen please refer to
its security tracker page at:
https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/screen
