CVE-2018-16877 A flaw was found in the way pacemaker's client-server authentication was implemented. A local attacker could use this flaw, and combine it with other IPC weaknesses, to achieve local privilege escalation. CVE-2018-16878 An insufficient verification inflicted preference of uncontrolled processes can lead to denial-of-service. CVE-2020-25654 An ACL bypass flaw was found in pacemaker. An attacker having a local account on the cluster and in the haclient group could use IPC communication with various daemons directly to perform certain tasks that they would be prevented by ACLs from doing if they went through the configuration. For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 1.1.24-0+deb9u1. We recommend that you upgrade your pacemaker packages. For the detailed security status of pacemaker please refer to its security tracker page at: https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/pacemaker Further information about Debian LTS security advisories, how to apply these updates to your system and frequently asked questions can be found at: https://wiki.debian.org/LTS - -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQKTBAABCgB9FiEErPPQiO8y7e9qGoNf2a0UuVE7UeQFAl/2ONFfFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldEFD RjNEMDg4RUYzMkVERUY2QTFBODM1RkQ5QUQxNEI5NTEzQjUxRTQACgkQ2a0UuVE7 UeQI7hAAwYvIzwo+otLqcOx4imxB95DGxsAu59Cv47lzScXy79mWtLMjBwomft0w ig5iIJUMpF63nYj3nT3UU0MMYUG4JopR0Uo/APxktu9UnBPEpAtoVB6l2i65+pSh X6c83+Hgt2jL0CY0kepGLWVX5rJ1ocgOQo8ZTf+K4hh0g2+3Vr/zDJK0EH6X0EgI XUCqG1g6STY++e5w5Bz/SSFTux5bstCo3viWUV+be7s3aHavvntem4YVxHk333Hj 2veZKVBU6zE4Bs8VNrfOmlom5i5ugo5iqanpaQNd0udYyS/l1ceFYi+9jccX9Mmv 7H/5jP8tATTS94zzsuLhN+ZkU6QRxJlybeif+TbzZrSHUi3Z2dYib5BZy6eNxXh7 X8kPo7o0/v//PzqXFuXeDNYnnggft/EtBytnU5DW7DQQvMDpKNFskO/OTP9lwznd FM2QJosPG0i6sWcOxKXpKY7R6/lrRNHA3rFKyTIXpHQh1/Ona3O1bDqzIepdnN/4 4IAAoimHayEaSmCerxiFJRgCGlzluOTBQ/wpS2E5q1D6eHzlNV6n7K2JdI5IIPf/ WWkX9L88MCtloyKEDb1qxzOHHWIeIMRKiifnNUf8slFPFqN/UGjwC4wA7RKAuc5k 8cAZKg6FYRQlKIvms7IU3h0o5tW9dIDhpUiBLO35UnOpM6ykePA= =ai6/ - -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- - --------------------------END INCLUDED TEXT-------------------- You have received this e-mail bulletin as a result of your organisation's registration with AusCERT.
