Security Advisory Recommended Actions

If you are running a version listed in the Versions known to be vulnerable
column, you can eliminate this vulnerability by upgrading to a version listed
in the Fixes introduced in column. If the table lists only an older version
than what you are currently running, or does not list a non-vulnerable version,
then no upgrade candidate currently exists.

Mitigation

To mitigate this vulnerability, you should permit management access to F5
products only over a secure network, limit access to only trusted users, and
limit network access to only the designated source IP addresses. For more
information about securing access to BIG-IP systems, refer to K13309:
Restricting access to the Configuration utility by source IP address (11.x -
15.x) and K13092: Overview of securing access to the BIG-IP system.

If the BIG-IP configuration utility is no longer accessible, you can recover
the access using the TMOS Shell (tmsh) access with administrator credentials to
restart the httpd service. To restart httpd service using tmsh access, enter
the following command:
restart /sys service httpd

Impact of action: Performing the following procedure should not have a negative
impact on your system because the Configuration utility is no longer
accessible.
