Summary:

A potential security vulnerability in the Power Management Controller (PMC) for
some Intel Processors may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing
firmware updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Vulnerability Details:

CVEID: CVE-2020-0559

Description: Improper access control in the PMC for some Intel(R) Processors
may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via
local access.

BIOS firmware version provided by the system manufacturer that addresses this
issue.
