NOTICE: IBM Connect:Direct (C:D) for UNIX v4.x on the Solaris Operating System
is a 32-bit application and uses the 32-bit IBM Java v1.7. Support for IBM
Java v1.7 will end in April 2020 and IBM will not publish any further defect
fixes (including any security vulnerabilities) for IBM Java 1.7 beyond this
date. While this does not affect the support status for C:D for UNIX v4.x,
clients running on Solaris are advised to upgrade to C:D for UNIX v6.0.x.x
(that uses IBM Java 1.8) as soon as possible to ensure that you continue to
receive any applicable defect fixes and security updates for IBM Java. The
Solaris hardware and software requirements for CDU v6.0.x are the same as for
CDU v4.3.x. Please consult the IBM(R) Connect:Direct(R) for UNIX 6.0 documentation
for further details.
