Security Advisory Recommended Actions If you are running a version listed in the Versions known to be vulnerable column, you can eliminate this vulnerability by upgrading to a version listed in the Fixes introduced in column. If the table lists only an older version than what you are currently running, or does not list a non-vulnerable version, then no upgrade candidate currently exists. Mitigation To mitigate this vulnerability, you can disable connection mirroring for FTP virtual servers, or use passive FTP. To do so, perform the following procedure: Disabling connection mirroring Impact of action: Disabling connection mirroring may disrupt in-flight FTP connections in the event of a failover. 1. From the BIG-IP configuration utility, navigate to Local Traffic > Virtual Servers > Virtual Servers List. 2. Select your FTP virtual server. 3. Set the Configuration mode to Advanced. 4. Clear the Connection mirroring option. 5. To save the changes, click Update. - --------------------------END INCLUDED TEXT-------------------- You have received this e-mail bulletin as a result of your organisation's registration with AusCERT.
