K36320691:F5 SSL Orchestrator vulnerability CVE-2019-6627

Original Publication Date: 02 Jul, 2019

Security Advisory Description

On rare occasions, specific to a certain race condition, TMM may restart when
SSL Forward Proxy enforces the bypass action for an SSL Orchestrator
transparent virtual server with SNAT enabled. (CVE-2019-6627)

Impact

The Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) may restart, causing F5 SSL
Orchestrator to experience traffic disruption or a failover event.

Undisclosed traffic flow may cause TMM to restart under certain circumstances.
(CVE-2019-6630)

Impact

A remote attacker may be able to disrupt service by causing the Traffic
Management Microkernel (TMM) to restart. This issue only affects F5 SSL
Orchestrator systems performing transparent proxy chaining.
