A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

  o Ubuntu 19.04
  o Ubuntu 18.10
  o Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
  o Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Summary

Several security issues were fixed in Django.

Software Description

  o python-django - High-level Python web development framework

Details

It was discovered that Django incorrectly handled certain inputs. An attacker
could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code. This issue only
affected Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.10 and Ubuntu 19.04. (CVE-2019-12308)

Gavin Wahl discovered that Django incorrectly handled certain requests. An
attacker could possibly use this issue to bypass credentials and access
administrator interface. (CVE-2019-12781)

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package
versions:
