IBM Cloud Private Monitoring is vulnerable to XSS attack in Prometheus

Vulnerability Details

CVEID: CVE-2018-14041
DESCRIPTION: Bootstrap is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by
improper validation of user-supplied input by the data-target property of
scrollspy. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute script
in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site.
An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based
authentication credentials.

For IBM Cloud Private 3.1.2, apply patch:

  o monitoring

For IBM Cloud Private 3.1.1, apply patch:

  o monitoring

For IBM Cloud Private, 2.1.x, 3.1.0:

  o Upgrade to the latest Continuous Delivery (CD) update package, IBM Cloud
    Private 3.2.
  o If required, individual product fixes can be made available between CD
    update packages for resolution of problems. Contact IBM support for
    assistance
