VULNERABILITY SUMMARY

Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified in HPE Virtual Services
Router (VSR) of Comware 7 products using NTP. The vulnerabilities could be
remotely exploited to allow remote denial of service.

RESOLUTION

HPE has provided the following recommended resolution:

  * HPE ConvergedSystem 700/700x Solution running the November 2017 recipe or
    August 2018 Recipe:
      + Update VSR to VSR1000_HPE-CMW710-R0327L01-X64 version in order to
        resolve the vulnerabilities (CVE-2016-7427, CVE-2016-7428,
        CVE-2016-7431).
