Advisory ID: cisco-sa-20180606-cucm-xfs
First Published: 2018 June 6 16:00 GMT
Version 1.0: Final
Workarounds: No workarounds available
Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvg19761

CVSS Score: Base 6.1

CVE-2018-0355
CWE-20

Summary

o A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco Unified Communications Manager
(Unified CM) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a
cross-frame scripting (XFS) attack against the user of the web UI of an
    affected system.

The vulnerability is due to insufficient protections for HTML inline frames
(iframes) by the web UI of the affected software. An attacker could exploit
this vulnerability by persuading a user of the affected UI to navigate to
an attacker-controlled web page that contains a malicious HTML iframe. A
successful exploit could allow the attacker to conduct click-jacking or
other client-side browser attacks on the affected system.

There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Medium
Advisory ID: cisco-sa-20180606-ucm-xss
First Published: 2018 June 6 16:00 GMT
Version 1.0: Final
Workarounds: No workarounds available
Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvj00512

CVSS Score: Base 4.8
CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N/E:X/RL:X/RC:X
CVE-2018-0340
CWE-79

Summary

o A vulnerability in the web framework of the Cisco Unified Communications
Manager (Unified CM) software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker
to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against the user of the web
    interface of the affected system.

The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of certain
parameters passed to the web server. An attacker could exploit this
vulnerability by convincing the user to access a malicious link or by
intercepting the user request and injecting certain malicious code. A
successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script
code in the context of the affected site or allow the attacker to access
    sensitive browser-based information.

There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
