Summary

The WAS proxy server or on-demand-router (ODR) may calculate the age of a
cached resource incorrectly when the system time is adjusted back. As a result,
a stale or invalid cached response may be returned to the client. The stale or
invalid cache response could possible be another users data.

The WAS proxy server or on-demand-router (ODR) may calculate the age of a
cached resource incorrectly when the system time is adjusted back. As a result,
a stale or invalid cached response may be returned to the client. The stale or
invalid cache response could possible be another users data.
IBM WebSphere Application Server Proxy Server or On-demand-router (ODR) could
allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by stale data
being cached and then served.

Remediation/Fixes

The WAS proxy server or on-demand-router (ODR) may calculate the age of a
cached resource incorrectly when the system time is adjusted back. As a result,
a stale or invalid cached response may be returned to the client. The stale or
invalid cache response could possible be another users data.

This will be fixed in 7.0.0.45, 8.0.0.14, 8.5.5.13, 9.0.0.5
