Security Advisory Description
The TS_OBJ_print_bio function in crypto/ts/ts_lib.c in the X.509 Public Key
Infrastructure Time-Stamp Protocol (TSP) implementation in OpenSSL through
1.0.2h allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read
and application crash) via a crafted time-stamp file that is mishandled by the
"openssl ts" command. (CVE-2016-2180)
Impact
An attacker may be able to cause a disruption of service.
Security Advisory Status
F5 Product Development has assigned ID 613225 (BIG-IP), ID 613353 (BIG-IQ/F5
iWorkflow), and ID 410742 (ARX) to this vulnerability. Additionally, BIG-IP
iHealth may list Heuristic H02652550 on the Diagnostics > Identified > Medium

Security Advisory Description
Multiple memory leaks in t1_lib.c in OpenSSL before 1.0.1u, 1.0.2 before
1.0.2i, and 1.1.0 before 1.1.0a allow remote attackers to cause a denial of
service (memory consumption) via large OCSP Status Request extensions. (
CVE-2016-6304)
Impact
A remote attacker can continuously request Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
renegotiation, sending an excessively large Online Certificate Status Protocol
(OCSP) Status Request extension each time. This causes memory consumption
growth on the BIG-IP system, which can eventually lead to a denial of service
(DoS) due to memory exhaustion.

Mitigation
To mitigate this vulnerability, you can restrict network access to the big3d
network port, TCP 4353.
Impact of action: TCP port 4353 is used to transfer sync-group data between
BIG-IP devices. You should test any changes to ensure compatibility in your
environment.

Security Advisory Description
The certificate parser in OpenSSL before 1.0.1u and 1.0.2 before 1.0.2i might
allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via
crafted certificate operations, related to s3_clnt.c and s3_srvr.c. (
CVE-2016-6306)
Impact
This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service
(DoS) attack.
