Comment: This advisory references vulnerabilities in products which run on 
         platforms other than Debian. It is recommended that administrators 
         running tor check for an updated version of the software for their 
         operating system.

It was discovered that the Tor onion service could leak sensitive
information to log files if the "SafeLogging" option is set to "0".

The oldstable distribution (jessie) is not affected.

For the stable distribution (stretch), this problem has been fixed in
version 0.2.9.12-1.

We recommend that you upgrade your tor packages.
