Vulnerability Details CVE ID: CVE-2013-6747 IBM CVSS SCORE: 7.1 CVSS Temporal Score: See http://xforce.iss.net/xforce/xfdb/89863 CVSS Environmental Score*: Undefined CVSS Vector: (AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C) DESCRIPTION: iLMT and TAD4D use GSKit for SSL/TLS connections. The GSKit implementation is vulnerable to an attack from a malformed certificate chain. Were an attacker to use such a certificate when initiating an SSL/TLS connection, they could cause the iLMT/TAD4D server process to hang or crash. The attack does not require local network access or authentication but specialized knowledge and techniques are required. An exploit would not impact the confidentiality of information or the integrity of data, however availability of the system can be compromised. AFFECTED PRODUCTS AND VERSIONS: 7.1.x, 7.2.x and 7.5.x REMEDIATION: Update the system with the latest Interim Fixes available from Passport Advantage. 7.5.x: * TAD4D 7.5.0.10 -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24033014 * ILMT 7.5.0.10 -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032909 7.2.2: * TAD4D 7.2.2 -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032997 * LMT 7.2.2 -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032962 earlier then 7.2.2: * Contact the support.
