There is a potential security exposure with IBM WebSphere Application Server 
after installing PM44303 or a fix pack that contains PM44303 that affects IBM
Rational Application Developer installations.

CVE ID: CVE-2012-3325

DESCRIPTION: There is a potential security exposure with WebSphere Application
Server after installing PM44303 or a fix pack that contains PM44303 that 
affects Rational Application Developer installations. Rational Application 
Developer installs the v6.0 and v7.0 WebSphere Application Servers as a Test 
Environment for use during development and they should be updated with the 
Rational Application Developer install process.

* Version 8.5.0.0 (Full Profile only)

REMEDIATION: The recommended solution is to apply the fix for each named 
product as soon as practical. Please see below for information on the fixes 
available.

Fix: For IBM Rational Application Developer:

* When using a WebSphere Test Environment version 6.1:

Apply WebSphere Test Environment v6.1.0.45 (targeted to be available at 
the end of November 2012) by following the Updating installed product packages
instructions.

* When using a WebSphere Test Environment version 7.0:

Apply WebSphere Test Environment v7.0.0.25 (targeted to be available at 
the end of November 2012) by following the Updating installed product packages
instructions.

* When using a WebSphere Application Server version 8.0:

Apply WebSphere Application Server Interim Fix APAR PM71296

Apply WebSphere Application Server 8.0 Fix pack 5 (8.0.0.5)

* When using a WebSphere Application Server version 8.5 full profile:

Apply WebSphere Application Server Interim Fix APAR PM71296
