Security Update: Updated IBM Java Runtime Environment (JRE) release resolves
potential security vulnerabilities in Java Security Manager (CVE-2012-4820,
CVE-2012-4821, CVE-2012-4822, and CVE-2012-4823)

IBM has released an updated IBM Java Runtime Environment (JRE) which resolves
four security vulnerabilities that potentially allow malicious Java code to be
executed outside Java sandbox restrictions (CVE-2012-4820, CVE-2012-4821,
CVE-2012-4822, and CVE-2012-4823). If an attacker can run untrusted Java code
within a Java security manager, that security manager can be removed and
subsequent code will be executed without sandbox restrictions. If you are using
the IBM JRE as your system JRE, IBM recommends that you follow the links for
the affected products and download and install the newest IBM JRE.
