Microsoft Corporation has released the following security bulletin
concerning a buffer overrun vulnerability in the Microsoft Windows
NT remote access service (RAS) client. This vulnerability could
allow a denial-of-service attack to be mounted against the client
machine or, under certain conditions, could allow arbitrary code
to be executed on that machine.  The attacker must have permission
to add or modify phonebook entries in order to mount the attack
(Permissions can be set via the phonebook's ACL). This vulnerability
affects RAS clients not servers:
