OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in Hitachi Device Manager Software
        prior to version 7.4.0-00.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details regarding this 
        vulnerability:
        
        "When an affected HDvM receives a large quantity of data at a time, 
        it is terminated abnormally. If this happens, the service or daemon 
        can be started by rebooting HDvM." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends updating to the latest version of Hitachi
        Device Manager Software to correct this issue.
