OVERVIEW

        Multiple Siemens Scalance X switches are vulnerable to a denial of
        service attack.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following information:
        
        "The web server of the vulnerable switches is susceptible to a
        remote denial of service attack. If the attack is executed, it
        causes a reboot of the device and no data can be transferred
        over the device." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor has provided firmware updates to address the
        vulnerability. [1]
