OVERVIEW

A vulnerability in Skype for Mac has been found. [1,2]

IMPACT

The reported vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute code
on a victim's computer by sending a specially crafted message. [2]

MITIGATION

Skype has released version 5.1.0.922 to correct the problem [3].
Currently the update is a manual one, but Skype should be pushing out
        the patch next week. [2]

One partial mitigation, is to set Skype to only allow messages from
        your Contacts. [1]
