OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in WordPress prior to version 
        3.0.3.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following details regarding this 
        vulnerability:
        
        "This release fixes issues in the remote publishing interface, which 
        under certain circumstances allowed Author- and Contributor-level 
        users to improperly edit, publish, or delete posts." [1]


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends upgrading to the latest version of WordPress
        to correct this issue. [1]
