OVERVIEW

        Google have released an update for Chrome, correcting several security 
        vulnerabilities.


IMPACT

        The vendor has provided the following information regarding these
        vulnerabilities [1]:
        
          * [40445] High Cross-origin bypass in Google URL (GURL).

          * [40487] High Memory corruption in HTML5 Media handling.
                    Credit: David Bloom of Google Security Team.
          * [42294] High Memory corruption in font handling.
                    Credit: wushi of team509.


MITIGATION

        The latest version of Google Chrome can be downloaded from the vendor's 
        website. [2]
        
        The update can also be applied from within Google Chrome using the built
        in update feature.
