OVERVIEW
The Intel PRO/Wireless is a popular driver set used in many systems,
especially laptops. Recently, a proof-of-concept has been released for
this vulnerability.
IMPACT:
A malicious frame could be broadcast and cause any affected adapter
that is within range to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
MITIGATION:
Intel has released an update to the driver set which can be downloaded
from the Intel website at:
http://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00001&languageid=en-fr
and following the appropriate links.
