OVERVIEW:
Coppermine is a photo gallery package for use on third-party
websites. Coppermine 1.4.17 and prior contains an SQL injection
vulnerability. [1]
IMPACT:
This vulnerability exists in Coppermine 1.4.17 and prior.
According to Secunia:
"Input passed to unspecified cookies in bridge/coppermine.inc.php
is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This
can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary
SQL code." [2].
MITIGATION:
Coppermine has released version 1.4.18 to correct the problem. Users
are advised to upgrade as soon as possible
