OVERVIEW:

        The Novell Client on Windows is vulnerable to buffer overflows in
        the NWSPOOL.DLL module. This module runs on the Windows system
        listening for RPC requests.


DETAILS:

        A remote unauthenticated attacker who can send a malicious request
        to a client computer with a vulnerable version of the Novell
        client installed could execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.

        This vulnerability bypasses the fix described in AA-2007.0061. [1]


MITIGATION:

        Novell has released patches fixing this vulnerability. [2]
