OVERVIEW:

Multiple vulnerabilities exist in IBM WebSphere Application Server
V6.1 Fix Pack 11 and prior.

IMPACT:

The impact for these vulnerabilities vary, however the most severe
are Denial of Service and Execution of Arbitrary Code.

An example of a DoS vulnerability fixed by this Fix Pack is APAR
PK48630 whereby "spaces padded to the uniquename causing problems
in administrative console" [1] will result in 100% CPU utilisation.

A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability also exists which is listed
as APAR PK40213. IBM states that "inserting certain script tags in
URLs may allow unintended execution of scripts." [1]

Many more vulnerabilities are listed on the IBM website. [1]

MITIGATION:

Apply Fix Pack 13 to resolve these issues. [2][3][4][5][6][7]
