Original Bulletin:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/known-vulnerabilities.html#thunderbird2.0.0.9

OVERVIEW:

Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 has been released fixing multiple security
vulnerabilities potentially allowing arbitrary code execution. [1][2]

IMPACT:

MFSA-2007-36 [1] allows for URIs with encoding to be passed triggering
a condition in the Windows shell which may allow execution of
arbitrary code. This vulnerability is described in CVE-2007-4841 [3]

MFSA-2007-29 may allow for execution of arbitrary code via multiple
exploitable conditions. CVE-2007-5339 [4] identifies vulnerabilities
in the browser engine. CVE-2007-5340 [5] identifies vulnerabilities
        in the javascript engine.

MITIGATION:

Users should upgrade to version 2.0.0.9 of the Thunderbird email
        client. [6]

The default configuration for Thunderbird disables javascript in
email, decreasing the likelihood that the vulnerability described
in this advisory could be exploited.
