After returning from lunch I was greeted by a small group of people standing around watching the floor. As my curiosity is always one to get the better of me, I ventured over to have a look. Sitting there, half curled up under Graham Ingram's office door, was a beautiful green tree snake (see image).

Now at this point I am expecting someone to make a comment about physical security of the office not being up to scratch, but we were all too enamored by how smooth and shiny it was. Plus during the day when the air conditioning fails we leave the windows open.

It didn't take too long for the snake to realise that it was now the centre of attention; where upon it made for the relative cover of an adjacent desk. It was around this time that people arrived to remove the snake. Unfortunately this new desk had the better part of 10 years of documents, books, papers and various other bits and pieces around it.

Around an hour later the snake was finally captured and life went back to normal, although the office does seem just a little cleaner now.
