OVERVIEW:
The Citrix Presentation Server Client on the Windows platform
provides an ActiveX control Wfica.ocx that has a remotely exploitable
buffer overflow vulnerability.
IMPACT:
If a user visits a malicious web page in Internet Explorer, a remote
attacker may compromise the client computer, executing arbitrary code
with the privileges of the user.
After compromising the client computer an attacker may then also
compromise the security of future Citrix sessions.
MITIGATION:
Version 9.230 of the Citrix Presentation Server Client Package has
now been released fixing this vulnerability. [3]
