Microsoft Corporation has released the following security bulletin
concerning a vulnerability in an optional component of Internet Explorer 5.
Internet Explorer 5.01 is not affected by this vulnerability.

An NT interactive user may exploit a vulnerability in the IE5 Task
Scheduler if the Offline Browsing Pack has been installed, the Task
Scheduler is running and the user has the ability to change files owned by
a member of the local Administrator's group.

This vulnerability may allow a user to gain privileged access.

A patch has been provided by Microsoft to eliminate this vulnerability:
