         Windows NT 4.0 Does Not Delete Unattended Installation File

Microsoft Corporation has released the following security bulletin
concerning a vulnerability associated with the unattended installation of 
Windows NT 4.0.  When an unattended installation completes, a copy of a 
file called Unattended.txt remains on the hard drive of the machine where 
the installation took place.  This file may contain sensitive information, 
such as the local Administrator password.  The file can be accessed by any 
user who performs an interactive logon to the machine.  If sensitive 
information is provided in the installation parameters file then the 
security of such information could be compromised:
