Microsoft Corporation has released the following security bulletin
concerning a denial of service vulnerability in Microsoft Windows
NT Terminal Server.  If connection requests are not filtered, a
remote attacker could mount a denial of service attack by levying
a large number of bogus new connection requests and consuming all
memory on the Terminal Server.  In extreme cases the server could
crash in the face of such an attack.

The patch mentioned in the bulletin works by causing the server to
require authentication before processing the connection request:
