Microsoft has released security bulletin MS04-002 "Vulnerability in
Exchange Server 2003 Could Lead to Privilege Escalation (832759)".
The vulnerability described in this bulletin is related to a vulnerability
in the non-default use of NTLM authentication between the Outlook Web
Access (OWA) front-end and the Exchange Server back-end. This
vulnerability could allow a successful attacker to randomly access other
mailboxes through the Outlook Web Access (OWA) component.
Microsoft has rated the severity of this vulnerability as moderate.
