Greetings,
For the Apple fiends out there, make sure you update your installation of Safari, as both Windows and Mac versions have been updated this week. Make sure you also update to the latest version of iOS, 4.3.4, for your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch and iPad!
Oracle's quarterly patch day came around again on Wednesday, with Oracle releasing updates to correct 78 new security vulnerabilities over a large range of Oracle products, including Oracle Database, Peoplesoft and more.
This week also saw a number of Cisco bulletins, covering vulnerabilities in Cisco ASR 9000 series and Cisco SA 500 series devices. Updates have been released for the Cisco SA 500 Series devices, but Cisco is not expecting to have an update available for the Cisco ASR 9000 series devices until the 29th of July.
And lastly, AusCERT is currently looking to hire two enthusiastic and talented Information Security Analysts. For more information and a position description, please see the advertisement here: http://www.seek.com.au/Job/information-security-analysts-auscert/in/brisbane-cbd-inner-suburbs/20252567
