A potential vulnerability has been identified with HP OpenView Network Node 
Manager (OV NNM) running on Windows. The vulnerability could be exploited 
remotely to execute arbitrary code.

HP has made a hotfix available to resolve the vulnerability.

OV NNM v7.53

The hotfix is available using ftp:

1. Download the Hotfix

Download SSRT100025.zip from ftp.usa.hp.com. Optionally verify the SHA-1 sum.

2. Apply NNM_01203

Apply the patch NNM_01203, available here:

Install the hotfix as described in the README.txt contained in SSRT100025.zip.

OV NNM v7.51

Upgrade to NNM v7.53 and apply the NNM v7.53 hotfix listed above. Patch 
bundles for upgrading from NNM v7.51 to NNM v7.53 are available using ftp:
