OVERVIEW
IBM has released Fix Pack 1 for InfoSphere Information Server 8.1 which
fixes multiple vulnerabilities.
IMPACT
IBM has provided the following information on the the vulnerabilities
fixed by this Fix Pack:
"Potential cross-site scripting vulnerability (XSS) with the
Information Server Web console" [1]
"DataStage SETUID binaries are vulnerable to a buffer overrun" [1]
MITIGATION
Fix Pack 1 for Information Server, Version 8.1 is available from the
IBM website. [1]
