OVERVIEW
MySQL Community Server 5.0.88 has been released correcting a
security vulnerability.
IMPACT
The vendor has provided the following informaion regarding this
vulnerability:
"MySQL clients linked against OpenSSL did not check server
certificates presented by a server linked against yaSSL." [1]
MITIGATION
Upgrading to the latest version of MySQL 5.0.x will correct this
vulnerability. It is available for download from the vendor's
website. [2]
