OVERVIEW
PHP 5.2.11 has been released correcting several security
vulnerabilities.
IMPACT
The vendor has provided the following information regarding these
vulnerabilities:
* "Fixed certificate validation inside
php_openssl_apply_verification_policy." [1]
* "Fixed sanity check for the color index in
imagecolortransparent()." [1]
* "Added missing sanity checks around exif processing." [1]
* "Fixed bug #44683 (popen crashes when an invalid mode is
passed)." [1]
MITIGATION
PHP v5.2x users can download the latest version from the vendor's
