OVERVIEW
Version 1.2.2 of Wireshark has been released to fix three (3) Denial
of service vulnerabilities.
IMPACT
The vendor has stated that this release fixes the following issues:
o "The GSM A RR dissector could crash." [1]
o "The OpcUa dissector could use excessive CPU and memory." [1]
o "The TLS dissector could crash on some platforms." [1]
MITIGATION
The vendor has made version 1.2.2 available for download on their
website. [2]
Other vendors which package Wireshark are expected to update shortly.
