OVERVIEW
IBM has released an interim fix for Tivoli Identity Manager to resolve
a Cross Site Scripting issue.
IMPACT
The vendors lists the following problems as fixed by this interim fix:
o "APAR: IZ54747
Symptom: SSUI should not perform input validation."
o "APAR: IZ58397
Symptom: While performing a reconciliation if 'Use query from
existing schedule' is selected, the recon might execute with an
incorrect filter (i.e. the filter of another existing schedule)."
o "APAR: IZ58408
Symptom: When attempting to add a user with the last name of
"null" (Mr. Null), (character string 'null') in ITIM admin console,
messages CTGIMU401E and CTGIMS001E are received and the submit
fails.
Additionally, when trying to modify an existing user with the
last name of null receives same error and a
SchemaViolationException is posted in ITIM trace.log."
o "APAR: IZ59284 ROUTE OF IZ55834 36267
Symptom: Person child tables do not get updated properly during
report data synchronization when the naming attribute of a custom
person profile is different from the person's mapped attributes
present in the entity column table." [1]
MITIGATION
The vendor has released the interim fix 5.0.0.6-TIV-TIM-IF0031 that
fixes these issues. [1]
